Dubious Honor

Dubious Honor began jeez, what, ten years ago now? No, it must be more like 12. Long time. It started as primarily a way for Ben Keller to vent his need to do something artistic in the media world. At that point he had just come from working at prestigious indie labels in Chicago- Wax Trax, Touch and Go, and Southern.

It wasn't a moneymaker at that point (it is now?) and was more of a hobby for him. The records started coming out and his Mama Tick project took on a life of it's own outside the label, so things slowed down for a while. When that heavy rock dream disintegrated he was back at it.

It didn't take long for him to become disillusioned with the indie scene in Maine, and in general. He took this opportunity to expand his talents and vision for the company. Thus came print, then followed web and video.

So here we are. After working in the media marketplace for six years or so, on top of running the DH, we decided to go it alone. So far, so good.

But we can't do it without your help! Got a media project you need to get working, and need it done affordably and professionally? Call us, call us now! Do it!
